STaM
STaM is Hebrew acronym for Sefer (a book), Tefillin and Mezuzahs.
The way Jewish culture and religion preserves and transmits during thousands of years the laws and traditions of scribal arts for properly writing Hebrew Bible's texts.
The Five Biblical books named Scrolls are shown in a separate section of the Gallery.
Hebrew Alphabet
In all Jewish congregations, holy Torah scroll is read every year from the beginning to the end during one year. For this purpose, the rabbis divided the Torah text into 54 weekly portions of various lengths. Each weekly portion is divided into 7 daily portions of various lengths. This makes 378 daily portions of various lengths. Above each portion presented here is its ordinal number. The design of each portion is discussed and agreed with the client.
